The Retreat Experience
Imagine This…
You wake up to the quiet of the lake just outside your cabin. The morning air is cool and still. Your dog stretches beside you, tail thumping softly, ready for the day.
Coffee in hand, you step outside as the sun rises over the water. The group gathers slowly, dogs nearby, as the day begins with a gentle grounding practice and space to settle into the environment.
Throughout the day, we move between nature hikes, dog behavior seminars, guided reflections, and hands-on learning with our dogs.
You’ll explore how dogs communicate, what truly motivates them, and how your own awareness shapes the relationship.
There’s time to kayak or swim in the lake, relax on the dock, journal, or simply sit with your dog and observe the world together.
As evening settles in, you gather around the bonfire and dogs curl up nearby after a full day of learning, exploring, and simply being.
A few days away from the noise of everyday life.
Time to reconnect with nature, your dog, and yourself.

FAQ
Can reactive dogs come?
Yes! The only requirement is that your dog can mostly co-exist with other dogs at ~15ft radius.
This is so you can be within range speaking range to hear the presenters at seminars and meditations.
I have 2 dogs, can I bring them both?
Absolutely!
It is only $75 extra for your second dog.
Can I share my cabin with another dog friend?
Yes! In fact, we encourage it to reduce your rate and make use of the extra bedrooms.
All dogs staying at the cabins must join the retreat.
If you bring a friend with their dog, the additional cost for them is $350. The split total cost between both dog teams becomes $625 (so you save $275 by inviting a dog friend, assuming Early Bird pricing)!
Can I bring a friend?
Yes! In fact, we encourage it, to help share the cost of your cabin and to make use of the extra bedrooms.
Your ticket includes 2 humans+1 dog/cabin - any additional people will be $80/day as an additional spectator (ability to join meditations, seminars, group walks, welcome dinner) or $30/day as a non-participant (only access to your cabin, no access to the retreat activities).
Are meals included?
The first welcome dinner is included!
After that, you must provide and prepare your own food. Each cabin comes with a complete kitchen and there will be time in the retreat programming for you to enjoy your own meals.
What if it rains?
Rain or shine!
There will be a large outdoor shelter for us to gather during seminars and meditations to protect us from the elements.
The shelter will be left open at all times for anyone attending the seminar to use.
Is previous training required?
No previous training required! This retreat will be valuable for a complete novice or someone with multiple years experience.
As long as your dog can co-exist with ~15 feet of space from other people and dogs, they're welcome to join.
You're welcome to book private sessions with Stephanie before, during or after the retreat if you'd like additional support!
Is there Wi-Fi and cell service?
There is no Wi-Fi & you likely won't get reception!
Disconnect to reconnect!
