A light hearted competition with group classes to prepare - focused on developing skills for city dogs to thrive - living harmoniously, reliably & confidently with their humans!

Competition Day

Competition day will be full of challenges and fun!

You & your dog will complete a series of tasks that will test your ability to stay connected and work through challenges together - such as ignoring distractions, leash work, obedience and other skills needed to be totally Sync'd Up in the City!

There will also be prizes, snacks & laughs.

You will receive more information upon sign up.

Sync'd Up Group Classes - Competition Preparation

What to expect

Group classes focused on building skills to win gold in competition and in life together!

Build handler focus, leash skills, obedience & impulse control development, confidence building and all things to get you and your dog totally Sync'd Up!

Group classes will be a maximum of 5 dogs.

Feeling extra competitive or in need of some one on one help?

Book private sessions to get ahead!

Who Qualifies

These classes are best suited to dogs over the age of 6 months who can share space with other dogs on leash without excessive barking. Any level of previous training experience welcomed - from brand new to practically-pro! We will not be addressing fear or anxiety, so if that may be a barrier to your dogs ability to learn in the space, then this may not be the group class for you just yet.

Investment

 

All participants must start with a private session to assess your current skill level & establish foundational skills you'll need to have prepared for group class - $170.

You then have the option to join as many group classes as you would like or continue with private lessons.

Drop in group class rate is $50/class

Bundle option - Initial private + all 6 group classes + Competition day entry  = $450 ($50 saving)

Dog Training Liability Waiver

Acknowledgment of Risk

The Client acknowledges that dog training and behavior modification activities are not without risk, especially with dogs that may be aggressive, reactive, or have other behavioral issues. The Client understands that participation in dog training may involve physical injury to themselves, their dog(s), or third parties, including other pets.

The Client hereby acknowledges the following risks:

  • Injuries or damages caused by the dog to people, animals, or property.

  • Injuries sustained by the Client, their dog(s), or third parties during the training process.

  • Risks associated with unpredictable animal behavior, including bites, scratches, or other injuries.

  • Any risks inherent in the environment or venue where training occurs (e.g., outdoor areas, public spaces, other off-leash dogs in public).

The Client agrees to assume full responsibility for:

  • The actions and behavior of their dog(s) during all training sessions, whether on the Client’s property, Trainer’s premises, or any other location.

  • Any damage, harm, or injury caused by their dog(s) to property, people, or other animals during the training sessions.

  • Ensuring that their dog(s) is/are current on vaccinations and in good health prior to participating in training.

Release of Liability

I acknowledge that participation in dog training classes, competitions, and related activities involves inherent risks, hazards, and dangers, including but not limited to: bites, scratches, collisions with people or animals, tripping or falling, property damage, exposure to tools, equipment, toys, treats, jumps, elevated surfaces, and unpredictable behavior by other dogs or handlers. I freely and voluntarily assume all risks, known and unknown, foreseen and unforeseen, associated with my and my dog’s participation in the Activities.

In consideration of being permitted to participate, I, on behalf of myself, my dog(s), my heirs, personal representatives and assigns, hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue [Business Name], its owners, officers, employees, instructors, contractors, volunteers, agents, and affiliates (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, losses, costs or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) for injury, illness, death, property loss or damage, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise, arising out of or in any way connected with my or my dog’s participation in the Activities.

I agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from my or my dog’s acts or omissions, including any claim brought by third parties.

I further acknowledge and agree that:

  • I am responsible for controlling and supervising my dog at all times and will ensure my dog is current on vaccinations and in appropriate health to participate.

  • I will keep my dog leashed or under control as required and will promptly remove my dog from the Activity if it becomes aggressive, ill, or unmanageable.

  • This Acknowledgement and Release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by applicable law. If any provision is held invalid, the remainder shall continue in full force and effect.

Photographs and Media Release (Optional)

The Client grants the Trainer permission to use photographs or video recordings of training sessions, including images of their dog(s), for marketing, promotional, or educational purposes. Contact kissmymutttraining@gmail.com if this is an issue.

Cancellation Policy

The Client acknowledges and agrees to the following cancellation policy:

  • Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled training session. Failure to do so will result in a charge of 50% of the session fee.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled session will be charged the full session fee unless the cancellation is due to a verifiable emergency (e.g., medical emergencies for the Client or dog).

  • If the Trainer must cancel a session, the session will be rescheduled at no additional cost to the Client.
